I did my TSU internship at the company Tecnocible for 4 months. I had the opportunity to develop a project that solved the problem of a newspaper company in the city of Colima. I made use of technologies such as PHP, MySQL, JQuery, JavaScript and Bootstrap. In this company, we apply the agile Scrum methodology for project delivery
I was an intern in the BrightCoders program working on multiple projects, like creating a system for a blood donation foundation and developing a website with a Twitter-like functionality, using different technologies such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, jQuery, Sass, Git, Github, AWS, Sidekiq, PostgreSQL, Redis as well as testing with Rspec and Capybara. I learned to work under the Scrum methodology.
In this company I worked in a couple of school systems, one for Tec de Monterrey and another for an American company, in both I developed multiple functions of the system, from online chats to excel reports with large volumes of data, using technologies such as RoR, symfon, jaspersoft and MYSQL, creating APIs for backend, as well as fixing system bugs.
In my experience with a Digital Transformation agency, specialized in software product development, I had the chance to contribute to a project for a real estate company. During this project, we applied the MVC pattern to efficiently structure development, taking charge of designing and developing various modules, both for user interfaces and business logic. I worked with technologies such as Ruby on Rails and VueJS for frontend and backend development, respectively, and used PostgreSQL for database management. Additionally, I implemented tests with RSpec to ensure code quality and deployed the solution in the cloud using AWS, thus guaranteeing optimal performance and scalability.
At HomeClub, I led the development of Ruby on Rails applications for managing luxury rentals, while simultaneously handling four projects in various programming languages. I expanded my responsibilities beyond software development to include creating tasks in Jira, server maintenance, and log review in production environments, as well as containerization with Docker. I collaborated on Bitbucket, participated in daily international meetings, and played a crucial role in implementing the Adyen payment gateway, demonstrating a broad skill set and a commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork.
